  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions. This role requires strong clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
    2. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
    3. Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
    4. Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing.
    5. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
    6. Educate patients and families on respiratory health, treatment plans, and equipment use.
    7. Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress in the electronic health record system.
    8. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and professional guidelines.
    9. Respond to emergency situations, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
    2. Current, active Respiratory Therapist license in the practicing state.
    3. Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in respiratory care.
    4. Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, equipment, and protocols.
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    6. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in critical care, ICU, or emergency settings.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    3. Advanced training in neonatal or pediatric respiratory care.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    3. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
    4. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred).
