  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Deliver direct patient care in the Telemetry unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    2. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly responding to changes in patient condition.
    3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    4. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
    5. Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
    6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
    7. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and quality care.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
    3. Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Telemetry or a related acute care setting.
    4. Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment.
    5. Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    2. Prior experience in a Telemetry or Cardiac Care unit.
    3. Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
