JOB SUMMARY
This role is a 16-week contract position requiring 100% onsite presence. The successful candidate will perform cell culture of primary cells, conduct various cell-based assays independently, and execute high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner. Maintaining aseptic technique, ensuring the sterility and quality of results, and working safely within a BSL-2 laboratory environment are critical. Responsibilities also include maintaining electronic lab notebooks, preparing technical reports, performing necessary analysis, and ensuring appropriate documentation. Basic laboratory management, multitasking, and experimental troubleshooting are expected.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform Cell Culture of Primary Cells and complete various Cell-Based Assays independently.
• Perform high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain excellent aseptic technique and ensure sterility/quality of cell culture and assay outcomes.
• Work safely within a BSL-2 laboratory environment.
• Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, prepare precise technical report summaries, any necessary analysis, and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Conduct basic laboratory management, multitasking, and experimental troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications
• PhD Student in a scientific discipline with emphasis in molecular and cell biology, immunology, or related disciplines.
• Training and experience with Cell Culture (Primary Cells isolation, Mammalian Cell Culture, flow cytometry, RNAi, etc) is a must-have.
• Working knowledge of and/or skills in the cell biology field (pipetting, aseptic technique, preparing media, cell-based assay work, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfort working within a fast-paced lab environment.
• Ability to perform basic dilution and stoichiometric calculations.
• Ability to work independently with ambiguity and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
