  • Job Summary
    We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ICU RN is responsible for providing high-quality, critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions. This role involves continuous monitoring, rapid response to changes in patient condition, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Deliver direct and specialized nursing care to critically ill patients.
    2. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, condition changes, and responses to treatment.
    3. Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions as ordered.
    4. Operate and manage life-sustaining equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitors.
    5. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
    6. Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-ICU recovery.
    7. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in electronic health records.
    8. Adhere to infection control standards, safety guidelines, and hospital protocols.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    2. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
    3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    4. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure environments.
    5. Proficient in using ICU monitoring equipment and electronic medical records.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Experience with advanced cardiac life support and trauma care.
    3. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
    3. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (preferred).
