Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY

    The Manufacturing Technician 2 is responsible for manufacturing products according to established protocols and performing operations in support of the group, department, and company. This role requires operating processing equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to safety regulations within a production environment. NOTE: This is NOT a warehouse position.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate processing equipment including COP (clean out of place), CIP (clean in place), Kaps All Torquer, and label line.
    • Perform production operations, including routine and monthly cleaning of rooms.
    • Manage waste disposal and manual cleaning of small parts.
    • Handle materials, including pulling bottles from inventory and performing bottle pass through to Class 100 clean room.
    • Execute hand torque and torque testing, apply pinch clamps, and package bags/bottles.
    • Communicate and document process, product, and equipment status.
    • Execute batch records in SAP (eBR) and ensure applicable log books are completed.
    • Perform operations in compliance with safety rules and production procedures.
    • Use, clean, and store personal protective gear appropriately and label equipment/containers properly.
    • Take action to resolve any unsafe conditions and participate in required safety and quality training.
    • Maintain good housekeeping in manufacturing and working areas.

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Communication skills, oral and written.
    • Computer skills (SAP).
    • Mechanical skills.
    • Troubleshooting skills.
    • Interpersonal skills.
    • Organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift and push up to 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Ability to work shift work, including 8/10/12 hour day/night schedules during various days of the week.
    • Ability to perform tasks while wearing personal protective equipment, including respirators, for an extended time.
