Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical staff, ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.
- Support nurses and physicians during medical procedures and patient care activities.
- Observe patients and report changes in condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility as needed.
- Document care provided accurately in patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of employment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a commitment to high-quality care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or clinical setting preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Certifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) – active and in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or ability to obtain prior to start date.
