  • Job Summary:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Patient Financial Representative to join our Revenue Cycle Billing Services (RCBS) team. This role involves managing various financial operations, including billing, collections, and reimbursement validation, within a multi-facility hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital billing and collections, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide operational support across different work units within the RCBS organization, ensuring seamless workflow and efficiency.
    • Manage inpatient and outpatient billing processes, including the preparation and submission of UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms.
    • Handle billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, copying, faxing, and data entry functions accurately.
    • Train new and existing Associates on RCBS processes, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and best practices.
    • Offer backup coverage and support for various positions within RCBS as assigned by the manager.
    • Coach and mentor Associates on transactional processes to enhance performance and operational effectiveness.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1 year of hospital billing and collections experience.
    • Experience working within a multi-facility hospital business office environment.
    • Proficiency in inpatient and outpatient billing requirements, including UB-04 and HCFA 1500 billing forms.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Preferred Skills:
    • Familiarity with hospital billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience in coaching or mentoring team members.
