CT Technologist (Allied)

JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating CT scanners, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform CT scans according to physician's orders and established protocols.
• Prepare patients for CT examinations, including explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning.
• Administer contrast media as needed, following safety guidelines.
• Operate CT scanner console and related equipment efficiently.
• Monitor patient's condition during the scan and respond to any emergencies.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of acquired images.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
• Adhere to safety regulations and infection control policies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to review images and patient information.
• Clean and maintain CT scanning equipment and work area.

Schedule / Shift

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current BLS certification.
• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, if applicable.

Certifications
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred.

Experience
