Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medicine Specialty unit to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a range of health conditions, from simple to complex.
The role involves delivering high-quality care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and educating patients and their families to ensure the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to interventions and treatments.
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patient physiological data, administer prescribed medications, and manage intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Delegate tasks to support staff and refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure patient care is delivered competently and in accordance with professional nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.
