JOB SUMMARY Provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities - Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including General, Vascular, OB, GYN, Small Parts, and Pediatric. - Utilize advanced sonography equipment and techniques to obtain diagnostic images. - Maintain a safe sonography/ultrasound environment for patients and staff. - Possess in-depth knowledge of sonography/ultrasound principles, anatomy, physiology, and physics as they relate to patient care. - Ensure optimal image quality and accurately document findings.
Schedule / Shift - Nights, as required. - Holidays as required. - No call. - No weekends.
Unit / Specialty - Ultrasound / Radiology
Patient Population - Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
Experience - Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant experience in Ultrasound/Sonography.
Certifications - ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) - RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
Skills - Enhanced knowledge in the area of sonography/ultrasound. - Specific expertise and skills for maintaining a safe sonography/ultrasound environment. - Proficiency in performing General, Vascular, OB, GYN, Small Parts, and Pediatric ultrasound exams. - Strong understanding of basic anatomy, physiology, and physics related to sonography.
