JOB SUMMARY Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing Computed Tomography (CT) technology. Provide patient care and support during CT examinations. Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities - Operate CT scanner to obtain diagnostic images. - Position patients and ensure proper patient comfort and safety. - Administer contrast media as prescribed. - Monitor patient vital signs and reactions during procedures. - Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and examination rooms. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. - Adhere to radiation safety principles and ALARA guidelines. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Schedule / Shift NOC Shift
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience - Previous experience as a CT Technologist.
Certifications - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Skills - Proficient in CT imaging techniques. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. - Ability to operate CT scanning equipment. - Strong patient care and communication skills. - Emergency response capabilities.
EMR / Systems - Experience with PACS and RIS systems.
Patient Population - Adults and Geriatrics.
