JOB SUMMARY Seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography (CT) scanners. This role involves operating CT equipment, positioning patients, administering contrast media, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of diagnostic images. The technologist will adhere to all safety protocols and departmental procedures.
Key Responsibilities - Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders and established protocols. - Prepare patients for CT examinations, including explaining procedures and addressing concerns. - Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images. - Administer intravenous contrast media safely and effectively, following departmental guidelines. - Operate CT scanners and associated equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance. - Review images for technical quality and completeness, making necessary adjustments. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PACS and RIS systems. - Adhere to radiation safety principles and protocols to minimize patient and staff exposure. - Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. - Respond to patient emergencies and provide appropriate care until advanced medical help arrives.

Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certifications - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience - Previous experience as a CT Technologist.
Skills - Proficient in operating CT imaging equipment. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to CT imaging. - Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. - Excellent patient care and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
EMR / Systems - Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
