Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a local healthcare setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in urgent situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care and dressing changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support unit-based goals.
- Provide timely responses to patient needs and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical and patient care skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus.
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred.
