  • Job Summary
    We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our physical therapy team in delivering effective rehabilitation services. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients with therapeutic exercises, and monitor progress to help restore mobility and improve quality of life.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
    2. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and functional mobility.
    3. Monitor and document patient responses to treatment, reporting any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
    4. Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
    5. Educate patients and families on exercise routines, safety precautions, and injury prevention.
    6. Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
    7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
    8. Adhere to infection control practices and safety protocols.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    2. Current and unrestricted state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
    3. Basic knowledge of physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation principles.
    4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, or home health settings.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Current CPR/BLS certification.
    2. Any specialty certifications related to physical therapy or patient care (optional).
