JOB SUMMARY
The Cath Lab Tech will work within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist physicians during a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic angiograms, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including patient education and skin preparation.
• Operate and maintain specialized cardiac catheterization equipment, including GE Innova systems.
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Administer medications and contrast agents as directed by the physician.
• Scrub for procedures requiring sterile technique.
• Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available and functional for each procedure.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in the EMR system.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond effectively during emergency situations.

Schedule / Shift
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-call duties as required.

Required Qualifications
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• ARRT Certification
• Competency in Special Procedures
• Proficiency with GE Innova equipment

Preferred Qualifications
• RCIS Certification

Experience
• Experience working in a Cath Lab environment.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, including cardiac caths, cerebellar angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT procedures.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, critical care environment.
