  • Job Summary
    The Physician Assistant (PA) provides comprehensive primary and family care services to patients of all ages in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role is responsible for patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education. The PA works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting daily clinic operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide comprehensive primary and family care services to patients across all age groups.
    2. Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
    3. Manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, preventive care visits, wellness exams, and health screenings.
    4. Prescribe medications and coordinate individualized care plans with healthcare team members.
    5. Perform routine physical examinations and health evaluations.
    6. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.
    7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR/EHR systems.
    8. Support daily clinic operations, including:
    9. Patient follow-up
    10. Inventory management
    11. Insurance verification
    12. Maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization
    13. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
    14. Required Qualifications
    15. Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
    16. Active Texas Physician Assistant license in good standing.
    17. NCCPA Board Certification required.
    18. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
    19. Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in:
    20. Primary Care
    21. Family Practice
    22. Internal Medicine
    23. Urgent Care
    24. (preferred)
    25. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    26. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.
    27. Preferred Qualifications
    28. Experience in:
    29. Primary Care
    30. Family Medicine
    31. Urgent Care
    32. Retail or Walk-In Clinics
    33. Chronic Disease Management
    34. Preventive Care and Wellness Visits
    35. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual patient care.
    Certifications
    1. NCCPA Board Certification required.
    2. Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) required.

    Technical Skills
    1. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
    2. Strong clinical documentation skills.
    3. Experience with patient care coordination.
    4. Telehealth experience or familiarity preferred.
