Key Responsibilities - Administer dialysis treatments and monitor patients during the process. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for nephrology patients. - Educate patients and their families about kidney disease management, treatment options, and at-home care. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
Required Qualifications - Current RN license in the state of practice. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certifications - BLS
Experience - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience. - Experience in a Nephrology or Dialysis setting is a plus.
Skills - Strong clinical assessment skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficient in patient education. - Knowledge of renal physiology and kidney disease management.
