JOB SUMMARY Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care inpatient setting, focusing on rehabilitation related to stroke and orthopedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary conditions. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability. - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. - Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs. - Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner. - Participate in departmental meetings and in-services.
Schedule / Shift 10 Hour Days Minimum of 2 weekends per month
Required Qualifications - Physical Therapist State License - BLS Certification - 3 years of Physical Therapy experience
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in a Stroke Certified Center - Experience with orthopedic caseloads
Experience - 3 years of acute care inpatient physical therapy experience is required.
Skills - Competent in performing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations. - Proficient in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Patient Population Adult and Geriatric patients requiring acute care rehabilitation.
Unit / Specialty Acute Care Inpatient Stroke Certified Center Orthopedics
Floating / On-Call Floating may be required based on departmental needs.
