Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), also known as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), provides basic medical care and supports patient wellbeing as part of a collaborative healthcare team. This role includes monitoring vital signs, recording medical histories, assisting with hygiene, and ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care in compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Document patient medical history and maintain accurate records.
- Assist patients with hygiene and daily living activities.
- Support physicians and registered nurses in patient care and procedures.
- Monitor patient wellbeing and report changes promptly.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Current LPN/LVN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination card.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a medical team.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Certifications (if any)
