  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and family-centered support. This role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
    • Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment.
    • Administer medications, therapies, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
    • Operate and maintain specialized ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and monitoring systems.
    • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and recovery expectations.
    • Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
    • Participate in emergency response situations, including resuscitation and advanced airway management.
    • Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.

    Required Qualifications
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience.
    • Strong knowledge of critical care practices and patient management.
    • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience in a specialized ICU (e.g., neurology, cardiac, trauma).
    • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

    Certifications
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required).
    • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (preferred).
