  • Job Summary  
    The Staff Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in an ambulatory/outpatient setting. This role includes phone triage, administering immunizations and medications, wound care, and coordinating outpatient tests and referrals. The RN ensures accurate documentation in Epic and delivers safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Conduct phone triage to assess patient needs and provide guidance.
    2. Obtain and document patient medical history.
    3. Complete and record medication assessments.
    4. Administer immunizations and medication injections.
    5. Provide wound care and coordinate outpatient tests.
    6. Refer patients to physicians for tests and procedures as needed.
    7. Document all patient interactions and treatments in Epic.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current RN license in state.
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Experience with medication injections (minimum of 1 year required).
    4. Previous phone triage experience highly preferred.
    5. Knowledge of Epic preferred.
    6. Flu vaccine required.
    7. COVID vaccine required.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Prior experience in outpatient specialty clinics.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.
    2. Specialty certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing – preferred.
