Job Summary
• Provide pharmaceutical care by preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with regulations
• Ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals in collaboration with healthcare providers

Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and evaluate medication orders for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare, compound, and dispense medications in compliance with standards
• Review patient records and provide guidance on medication use
• Monitor patient responses and adjust medication regimens as needed
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited pharmacy program
• Minimum 2 years of current hospital experience
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Certifications
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Licensed RPh in the state of North Carolina
