Job Description:

  • JOB SUMMARY
    Provide occupational therapy services to patients as prescribed by a physician. Assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities and limitations.
    - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
    - Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, adaptive equipment training, and cognitive retraining.
    - Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies.
    - Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and recommendations in accordance with facility and professional standards.
    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
    - Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuing education and participation in professional organizations.

    Schedule / Shift
    Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    Required Qualifications
    - Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
    - Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.

    Certifications
    - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Experience
    - Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist.

    Skills
    - Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
    - Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    - Strong documentation and charting skills.

    Adults and geriatrics.
