JOB SUMMARY
Provide direct patient care and assist the surgical team in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare the operating room with necessary surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist the surgeon and surgical team during operative procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgeries.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and supplies in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of specimens and surgical waste.
• Perform post-operative duties, including cleaning and restocking the operating room.

Schedule / Shift
• Rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

Experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Experience in Orthopedic surgeries is preferred.

Certifications
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills
• Proficient in sterile technique.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
