Job Summary
The Mail Processor II supports Client corporate mailroom operations by performing digital printing on large production-class printers, folding and inserting materials into envelopes using high-capacity inserter machines, and executing other mailroom functions in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strict adherence to sensitive time schedules, handling confidential healthcare information, and the ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs while remaining on their feet for extended shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate multiple large production printers, ensuring accuracy of print jobs and resolving mechanical issues such as paper jams.
- Manage large production inserters, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Verify documentation for print jobs, complete printing, inserting, postage stamping, and communication tasks within defined timeframes.
- Adhere to strict turnaround times and maintain workflow efficiency in a high-pressure environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs to support job tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive and productive workplace.
- Adapt to changes in processes and workplace requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating large digital copiers, inserters, or mailing machines.
- Prior experience handling mail and working in customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended shifts.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
