  • Job Summary
    The Nursing Aide provides essential support to nursing staff by assisting patients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires compassionate care, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
    2. Help patients with mobility, including transferring and repositioning.
    3. Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to nursing staff.
    4. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
    5. Support nurses with basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs.
    6. Assist with transporting patients within the facility.
    7. Document patient care and maintain accurate records as required.
    8. Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.

    Required Qualifications
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. Completion of a state-approved nursing aide training program.
    3. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
    4. Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting and assisting patients.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Previous experience as a nursing aide or in a healthcare setting.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

    Certifications
    1. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-specific).
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
