  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, monitor complex health conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients requiring intermediate levels of care.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
    2. Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex medical equipment.
    3. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
    4. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery processes, and ongoing health management.
    5. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
    6. Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
    7. Support a safe and healing environment by adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
    3. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in Progressive Care Unit, ICU, or step-down unit.
    2. Advanced training in cardiac monitoring or critical care nursing.
    3. BSN degree strongly preferred.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
    3. Specialty certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) is a plus.
