JOB TITLE: Cath Lab Tech

JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech with at least one year of experience operating fluoroscopy equipment within a Cath Lab setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in scrubbing cases and possess a Radiology Technologist background. This role is crucial for supporting staffing needs and ensuring efficient patient care in the Cath Lab.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment within the Cath Lab.
• Assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures, including scrubbing cases.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Schedule / Shift:
• 12-hour shifts with potential for extended hours due to staff shortages.
• Weekend coverage is required.

Required Qualifications:
• Radiology Technologist license or certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct Cath Lab experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Ability to scrub cardiac catheterization procedures.

Experience:
• At least 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
• Experience working in a Radiology Technologist role.

Skills:
• Proficient in fluoroscopy operation.
• Skilled in cardiac catheterization procedure support (scrubbing).
• Knowledge of sterile techniques.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Epic

Patient Population:
• Adult cardiac patients requiring diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Unit / Specialty:
• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)

Floating / On-Call:
• Floating between units is not required.
• On-call coverage is required during weekdays and weekends.
