  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Radiographer - Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within a cardiac catheterization laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will operate imaging equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and imaging quality while maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
    • Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
    • Assist physicians and clinical teams during cardiac cath and related interventional procedures
    • Monitor patient status during procedures and respond appropriately to patient care needs
    • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety checks of imaging equipment
    • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and procedural data
    • Follow radiation safety standards, infection control protocols, and departmental procedures
    • Prepare procedure rooms, supplies, and equipment before and after procedures
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support efficient workflow and patient care
    • Support quality assurance and compliance initiatives within the cardiac catheterization laboratory

    Required Qualifications
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
    • Current certification in Radiologic Technology
    • Experience operating fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment
    • Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and radiographic imaging techniques
    • Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
    • Experience supporting interventional cardiology procedures
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
    • Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring systems and related technologies

    Certifications
    • Registered Radiologic Technologist certification
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, if required
