Job Summary
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides essential patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. The LNA assists with daily living activities, monitors patient health, and supports a safe and comfortable environment to enhance the overall patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and exercise as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient rooms and common areas.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and patient care plans.
- Follow infection control protocols and adhere to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification or equivalent.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of patient care and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an LNA in a healthcare setting.
- Additional training or certification in CPR and First Aid.
Certifications
- Valid LNA certification (mandatory).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
