JOB SUMMARY
Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring a sterile field, assisting the physician, and operating diagnostic equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the cath lab suite for procedures.
- Assist the physician during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure.
- Anticipate physician needs and provide instruments and supplies.
- Operate and monitor diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care as directed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes.
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Schedule / Shift
Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications
- BLS/CPR certification
- ACLS certification

Experience
- Experience scrubbing in a cardiac cath lab setting.

Skills
- Proficient in sterile technique.
- Ability to maintain a sterile field.
- Familiarity with cath lab procedures and equipment.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to cardiac procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in scrubbing cardiac procedures.

Floating / On-Call
- On-call team rotation required.
- Maximum of 15 days on call during critical periods as per unit policy.
