  • Job Summary
    Seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a 13-week assignment through Client. This role involves acute inpatient phlebotomy services in a large hospital setting, requiring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with OSHA and laboratory guidelines.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform venipuncture and specimen collection procedures
    2. Label, process, and centrifuge specimens; split and store samples appropriately
    3. Verify physician orders and requisitions for accuracy
    4. Prepare specimens for transport and update patient information accurately
    5. Follow OSHA guidelines and laboratory compliance standards
    6. Assist with troubleshooting and workflow improvements

    Required Qualifications
    1. Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience
    2. Acute inpatient phlebotomy experience in large hospital settings (400+ beds)
    3. Ability to cover up to 650 beds and manage >5 patients per hour
    4. BLS certification required

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Experience in high-volume hospital environments
    2. Strong patient interaction and communication skills
    3. Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital workflows

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) required
    2. Phlebotomy certification preferred
