JOB SUMMARY The Multimodality Technologist (CT Technologist) performs a variety of imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities - Perform CT scans and other related imaging examinations. - Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. - Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer and departmental guidelines. - Position patients correctly for diagnostic imaging. - Process and archive images for physician review. - Maintain patient records and documentation. - Adhere to radiation safety protocols and standards.
Schedule / Shift 36 weekly hours Holiday Req: Any Holiday that falls on regularly scheduled shift
On Call Req: Back up call every 4th weekend. Weekend Req: None
Required Qualifications - ARRT(R) certification - Florida state radiology license
Experience - Demonstrated experience as a CT Technologist. - Experience with multimodality imaging procedures.
Skills - Proficient in operating CT scanners. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to CT imaging. - Strong understanding of radiation safety principles. - Excellent patient care and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
