  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while supporting physicians and the healthcare team.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and education.
    2. Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations and interventions.
    3. Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses throughout procedures.
    4. Administer medications and sedation as directed.
    5. Provide post-procedure care, including recovery monitoring and discharge instructions.
    6. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures in electronic medical records (EMR).
    7. Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
    8. Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other nursing staff to deliver coordinated patient care.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
    2. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, procedural environment.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    2. Prior experience in gastroenterology or surgical nursing.
    3. Familiarity with endoscopy equipment and sedation protocols.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
