Job Summary

Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract, working 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shifts. A 100-mile radius rule applies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and provide respiratory care to patients.
• Establish and manage ventilator settings using advanced principles of volume, flow, pressure, and time.
• Apply knowledge of acid/base and electrolyte relationships in life-threatening situations.
• Document patient care using Meditech EMR.
  

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Active New York State Respiratory Therapist license.
• RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Minimum required knowledge and competency in respiratory care practices.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• NRP and PALS preferred.
  

Certifications

• BLS and ACLS required.
• RRT certification through NBRC.

Note- Travel Experience required
