  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Gastrointestinal (GI) Lab team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care before, during, and after GI procedures
    2. Assist physicians with endoscopic and other GI-related procedures
    3. Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in condition
    4. Administer medications and sedation as directed
    5. Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, recovery, and follow-up care
    6. Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes
    7. Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
    8. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
    2. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in procedural or critical care settings
    3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
    4. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
    5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in a GI Lab or endoscopy unit
    2. Familiarity with conscious sedation protocols and GI procedures

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
    3. Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) certification (preferred)
