  • Job Summary
    The Director of Nursing leads and oversees all nursing operations within the organization. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management while driving strategic initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide nursing leadership by planning, organizing, and directing nursing services across the facility.
    2. Supervise and mentor staff including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
    3. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
    4. Develop and implement policies to maintain high standards of nursing practice.
    5. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
    6. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency.
    7. Drive quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
    8. Support strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
    2. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    3. Minimum 7–10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
    4. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
    5. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration.
    2. Experience in long-term care, acute care, or specialty nursing environments.
    3. Proven track record in staff development and mentoring.

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
    3. Nursing leadership or management certification (e.g., NE-BC, CNML) is a plus.
