  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide critical care to patients with serious or life-threatening conditions. This role involves continuous monitoring, timely intervention, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and progress in the ICU
    • Identify changes in patient status and respond appropriately
    • Administer treatments and medications as prescribed and monitor patient response
    • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with physicians and care teams
    • Communicate patient updates to physicians, patients, and family members
    • Develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
    • Support patient care needs throughout recovery in the ICU
    • Complete required documentation prior to patient transfers

    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
    • Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact license as applicable)
    • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
    • Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Meditech and EPIC
    • Ability to work within defined geographic requirements

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with advanced ICU procedures and equipment such as PA catheter, IABP, or CRRT
