    JOB TITLE: Ultrasound Tech - General

    JOB SUMMARY
    Seeking a skilled and confident Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join a high-risk OB/GYN residency clinic. This role requires proficiency in general ultrasound procedures, particularly in adult, high-risk OB, and obstetrics scans. The technologist will work independently, performing a daily caseload of 8-10 ultrasounds in a single room.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to:
    • Fetal Anatomical Surveys (1st-3rd Trimester)
    • Dating Scans, BPP, Growth Scans, AFI, Pelvic Mass, Abnormal Endometrium, Biometry, Crown Rump Length
    • Abdomen, Abdominal Circumference, Bone Lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Diaphragm, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Fingers/Toes, Gender, Head & Heart
    • Multiple Pregnancies and Placenta Previa
    • GYN and Pelvic Scans
    • Utilize professional knowledge and skills in management or lead experience.
    • Operate ultrasound equipment (GE specified) and charting systems (Epic and Viewpoint).
    • Conduct amniocentesis and UA Doppler as needed.
    • Perform Fetal Echo, Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements, Nuchal Translucency Screens, and Umbilical Cord Doppler.
    • Adhere to clinic protocols and patient care standards.
    • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures.

    Schedule / Shift
    • Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
    • Hours: 07:00 - 17:30 (4 x 10-hour days)
    • Off: Wednesdays
    • 40 Hours per week can be offered.

    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
    • Proven experience with Adult, High Risk OB & Obstetrics imaging.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the following fetal ultrasound skills: Abdomen, Abdominal Circumference, Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Diaphragm, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Fingers/Toes, Gender, Head & Heart.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the following OB/GYN ultrasound skills: 1st-3rd Trimester imaging, Amniotic fluid index (AFI), Fetal Anatomical Survey, Multiple pregnancy, and Placenta Previa.
    • Must be strong and confident, capable of working as a solo sonographer.
    • Management/lead experience is required.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with portables.
    • Experience with general ultrasound procedures.
    • Experience with amniocentesis.
    • Experience with UA Doppler.
    • Experience working in an outpatient setting.
    • Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
    • Experience with Fetal Echo, Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements, Nuchal Translucency Screen, and Umbilical Cord Doppler.

    • BLS Certification
    • ARDMS Certification
    • ARDMS-OB/GYN Certification

    Experience
    • Minimum of 2 years of general ultrasound experience.
    • Experience working as a solo sonographer.
    • First-time travelers are not accepted.
