  • Job Summary  
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in psychiatric care to provide compassionate and professional nursing services to adult patients aged 18 and older. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safety, and supporting treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and mental health professionals.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Provide direct patient care in psychiatric settings, including monitoring, assessment, and treatment support.
    2. Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
    3. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
    4. Support patients in crisis situations using de-escalation techniques.
    5. Document patient care activities in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
    6. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and coping strategies.
    7. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact license accepted).
    2. Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
    3. Strong knowledge of psychiatric care practices and patient safety standards.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    6. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Experience in adult psychiatric clinics or inpatient psychiatric units.
    2. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

    Certifications
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA) – required.
    2. Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification – required.
