JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week contract position to provide surgical support within the Operating Room/Surgery department.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Arrange and maintain sterile instrumentation and equipment.
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures by anticipating needs and providing requested instruments, sponges, and sutures.
- Maintain a sterile field and prevent contamination.
- Account for all instruments, sponges, and sharps.
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping.
- Participate in the surgical team's communication and problem-solving.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
- Document care and procedures as required.

Schedule / Shift
- 13-week contract
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification.

Experience
- Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Experience in a hospital operating room setting.

- Proficient in sterile technique.
- Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-pressure environment.
