  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic breathing disorders, ensuring safe and effective treatment in collaboration with physicians and nurses.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory illnesses or conditions.
    2. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
    3. Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
    4. Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
    5. Educate patients and families on respiratory health, equipment use, and preventive care.
    6. Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
    7. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
    2. Current license or registration as a Respiratory Therapist.
    3. Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
    4. Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
    5. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in hospital or critical care settings.
    2. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    2. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
    3. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is a plus.
