JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures using specialized equipment in the Interventional Radiology department.
Key Responsibilities - Perform Interventional Radiology procedures as requested, adhering to physician’s orders and established protocols. - Operate and maintain IR equipment and supplies. - Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. - Document patient care, procedures, and observations accurately in the EMR system. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Schedule / Shift - Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Required Qualifications - Certified Rad Tech (ARRT certified) - Prior experience in Interventional Radiology Specials
Experience - Prior experience in Interventional Radiology Specials
Certifications - ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) certification required.
Skills - Proficiency in operating IR equipment and supplies. - Ability to perform Interventional Radiology procedures. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
EMR / Systems - Meditech
Patient Population - Adult patients requiring interventional radiology procedures.
Unit / Specialty - Interventional Radiology
Floating / On-Call - On-call required: Regular shift is 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, call starts after regular shift from 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM the following morning. - Weekend call is 24 hours. - Minimum of 10 call shifts per month required, depending on staffing.
