Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, ensuring high-quality treatment, monitoring, and support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, and manage advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, recovery processes, and ongoing care needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards within the ICU.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree.
- Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Prior ICU or emergency department experience.
- Advanced training in critical care nursing.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Certifications (if any)
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (preferred).
