JOB SUMMARY Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities - Operates ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images. - Positions patients to obtain the required anatomical views. - Selects appropriate transducer and software settings for each examination. - Performs general abdominal, obstetrical, and small parts ultrasound exams. - Documents patient information, procedure findings, and makes preliminary measurements. - Adheres to all radiation safety and infection control policies.

Required Qualifications - Graduation from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Experience performing general abdominal, obstetrical, and small parts ultrasound examinations.
Skills - Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment. - Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
