JOB SUMMARY Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging services to patients as ordered by physicians. Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician's orders.
Key Responsibilities - Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages. - Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. - Obtain patient history and provide patient education regarding procedures. - Document all findings and patient care in the medical record. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. - Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
Schedule / Shift To be determined based on facility needs and patient volume.
Required Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
Skills - Proficient in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations. - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
