JOB SUMMARY Performs diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected disorders of the cardiovascular system, including echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular studies.
Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Conduct related cardiovascular system testing. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images. Document patient information and procedure results.
Schedule / Shift Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with 30-minute lunch Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Required Qualifications Registered or registry eligible by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). Registry exam must be completed within one year of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
Experience Experience as an Echo Tech is preferred.
