JOB SUMMARY CT Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to produce CT scans of the body.
Key Responsibilities - Performs CT scans according to physician's orders and established protocols. - Positions patients accurately for optimal imaging. - Administers contrast media as required. - Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures. - Maintains equipment and work areas. - Adheres to radiation safety standards. - Documents patient information and procedure details.
Schedule / Shift Flexible scheduling, including potential for nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications - Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT). - State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience - Experience performing CT scans.
Skills - Proficiency in CT scanning techniques and protocols. - Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. - Ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
