  • Job Summary  
    The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards to ensure high-quality imaging results.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and other radiologic exams as ordered.
    2. Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and high-quality images.
    3. Operate and maintain radiology equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
    4. Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety.
    5. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care plans.
    6. Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic medical system.
    7. Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
    8. Assist with quality assurance and equipment calibration as required.
    9. Monitor supply levels and report shortages to supervisors.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Associate degree or diploma in Radiologic Technology.
    2. Current licensure or eligibility as a Radiology Technologist.
    3. Knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety procedures.
    4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
    6. Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
    Preferred Qualifications
    1. Prior experience in a hospital or clinical radiology department.
    2. Experience with advanced imaging modalities (CT, MRI).

    Certifications (if any)
    1. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or equivalent.
    2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
