  • Job Summary
    We are seeking a Phlebotomist with pediatric experience to perform blood collection procedures, primarily heel sticks for newborns and infants. This is a temporary position with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Perform blood collection procedures, including heel sticks for bilirubin testing in newborns and pediatric patients.
    2. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens.
    3. Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.
    4. Follow established protocols and quality standards for specimen collection.
    5. Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
    6. Collaborate with healthcare providers to support diagnostic and treatment needs.

    Required Qualifications
    1. Proven experience as a phlebotomist, with pediatric expertise (newborns and up).
    2. Ability to perform heel sticks and other pediatric blood collection techniques.
    3. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
    4. Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

    Preferred Qualifications (if any)
    1. Prior experience in hospital or pediatric clinic settings.

    Certifications (if any)
    1. Certification in phlebotomy or equivalent training preferred.
